Periapsis, n: The point at which a body is closest to the centre of mass of the body it orbits.

It was supposed to be just a one-time arrangement, and then they’d go their separate ways. Then fate intervened. Now he’s locked into her orbit, and every attempt to escape just seems to pull him closer.
